The dua for travelling is a very short yet a powerful dua which shows our dependency on Allah. It’s a Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). It reminds us that everything, even something as small as travel, is possible only by Allah’s will. Every Muslim should recite this dua after sitting in the vehicle as it brings blessings, peace, and protection throughout the travel.

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ
Praise be to the one who managed to bring it under our control, though we couldn’t control it ourselves. Indeed, we surely will return to our Lord.
